If memory serves me the 2011 LT test was established in June of 2012? How is it possible that 700 LT were made in the time that only around 1450 sergeants were made? Wouldn't that put the NYPD at a disproportionate rate of LT to SGT to PO? I was under the assumption that there would be a ratio of around 1 SG...

I heard several people next on list were notified to report to 1pp promotional unit and are going to be promoted upfront and assigned to 1pp until next bmoc. What does that mean????? Is this normal practice?
