It's 110% not a false alarm LOL. Very easy. Pick up your phone and call your boro. The right thing to do is to have someone at your command call you if you're on the list right after the boro calls the desk but that doesn't always happen.

Zero chance BMOC promotes upfront if there is an April class, but nonetheless here's an early wish for a class next month.

I wouldn't say zero chance. They did it in 2011.  Probably not something to bet on.  But not zero chance.

Has anyone confirmed if you make the April class will they promote you in the system before the test so you can take it? I've heard all different answers. Some say absolutely not and some say they have talked to some higher ups and they said they will. Anyone with an answer ? Lol

 I don't think this is anything that can be confirmed or refuted at this point. I think it will come down the wire at the moment the time comes.

I'm sorry but they will not promote you upfront. The 2011 October class started October 3 and was promoted on the 28th. One day before the 2011 LT exam. That is a full BMOC class. If they went in on the 10th of that month they were not taking that test. There was a group of sgts who missed the 2006 Lt by 2 days.

You are absolutely correct about 2006. And I believe they missed it by 3 days. So it all depends. You can't say they will or won't.  It's basically up in the air At this point though.

Congratulations for those going in on Monday. We are extremely lucky! and to my brothers/sisters who just missed it I am truly sorry and hope the job does the right thing for once come April. It's been one hell of a ride getting to this point, so much has happened since Oct 2011 and I suppose our only benefit is using that additional experience as PO's to be better SGTs. Good luck to you all and lets crush this LT test so we dont have to do this crap again.
