You have to pick again. They may honor a few picks based on needs of the command or if you really need it but you arent walking in the door with 5 A picks and expect to take them.

You have two choices right now:
1) be a dick and hope for the best and pick your best picks hoping the new place will honor it (not likely)
2) be a nice guy and take all the worst picks, or skip, because you know you're leaving, but miss out on the off chance that your new command was at cusp of going from double picks to triple picks and you tipped it over so they let you just keep your picks.

Anything is possible, but if you're promoted around this time you're 99% likely to repick. Most supervisors haven't even picked yet, and you're at the very bottom so very easy for them to let you just pick new picks.

Damn I was hoping to see some pics from your vacation in here.

But how I played it was .. planned on getting promoted Jan/Feb so took 4 weeks in Jan. Didnt end up taking any and got promoted in February. Got to new command in April and they let us squeeze in with the current picks as long as it wasnt a full week of 3 Sgts being on vacation at once (we could overlap a few days with triples). I still only took 4 weeks and banked one. Got a May/June/Sept/Oct.
