Unfortunately I am hearing that there id no sgts now being promoted until July. I will update as i get new info.

Probably want to wait till the contract takes effect and the Sergeants are at the new pay. And knowing the city they will wait the full 90 days till around August

The contract is ratified. anyone promoted now will fall under the new contract. Last contract in 2021 it was ratified on 1/29. They put a sgt class in week later to on 2/7 of like 220. And those 220 were under the new contract.

That makes sense because NYPDs fiscal year runs July-July so, in July your

starting a new fiscal year .

No sgts as of now. Ill get more info Tuesday hopefully a last minute change . I really dont know why the dept is not promoting. Im confident they will for sure in june july because of the recruit class.

These numbers keep changing last min. Other ranks are pretty much locked in but the Sgt is changing

Same as the key

It started with zero , then went to 50 , and now its 25. It can go up or down . Honestly the palace is holding this info very close to the chest. This is how this current administration is handling things .

It's ridiculous to me!

They act as if they have the codes to a nuclear launch. It's a list of names of people being promoted. In fact, when that information is leaked, it does more good than harm because it gives the promotees and their families more time to plan accordingly.
