Generally a normal/ small class is 30. A large class is 50. Any deviation from that is rare

75 & 75 will be the first 2 classes. Third class is 50-75. Sounds like I was spot on clearing 200 within first 3 classes. Let it runs its course.

Promotions have been pretty consistent. I dont see anything changing, nor was any gaps mentioned. We all know that this job is unpredictable. Whats for sure is the Dept needs to promote LTs now that the list has been established. I say we dont drive ourselves crazy with numbers. Im 99% on the fact 200 will be made sooner than later.

There is a promotional ceremony for Auxiliaries on Jan 10 at Police Academy.

There is no reason to wait until Jan 26 if they will only promote LT. They can do it next week.

The best way to know about an upcoming promotion is from ceremonial. Last date ceremonial had for promotion was 1/26

1/10 there is an Aux promotion, they can use the same stage for LT promotion.

Negative K. OMB has to give the thumbs up for promotion. Personnel sends a request to PCs office based on the availability of space, and instructors at the academy. PCs office sends a number to DCMB- DCMB gets approval from OMB- OMB sends approval to DCMB, DCMB adjusts budget, sends final numbers to PC. PC approves, sends to Personnel, Personnel notifies academy.

You will be promoted in the system if you are out sick, on annual vacation or MELD. Your CO/Supervisor has to notify Uniforms Promotions Unit though. You can watch the ceremony live on YouTube.

75 LTs wearing uniform during BMOC will be a problem when they get mixed up with school safety recruits also wearing white. It will be a sea of white shirts.

If they are going 75 in January and 75 in February, then this list could easily reach 300-350 in a year.

IAB, EEO, Etc.. still havent received the investigative packets to start clearing. Should start as we get closer.

Looking at the calendar, it would have to be this week. This week people get notified for the following week. Then the week after that the finest comes down for promotion. Or perhaps the first 75 are good boys and girls. Or maybe Caban actually put his money where his mouth is when he told all the executives when he was first dep that he would do away with carb. Bwahaha. Just a puppet

I heard from someone in one of those units that they already cleared Sgts for the LT class. I dont remember if it was 100 or 130 that were cleared. Pos and LTs also got clear which indicates Sgt and Captain PromotionS too. I forgot the numbers for those other 2.

No shot 450 LT promoted in this first year or yearly rate. The list would be finished in 3 years
