Per @KeyCapt post a few months ago a list is expected to drop around this time. Georges Intel has always been on point. Please share any (relevant) intel and thoughts regarding the list dropping.
Sensei George W. Mifsud gave us all the list awhile ago. They can promote off of the list unpublished and publish it immediately following promotions. It has been done before.

That is correct it has been done before. 2013 Sgt exams, PO's in the first class were transferred to a supervisor mentoring program before the list was out/established which was a clear indication they were going to BMOC in 3 weeks and the list was being activated.
I hope you guys are right, get this ball rolling. If true, good luck to those who make it in the first class, and for the rest of us, this list will hopefully move quickly. God willing an 83 raw score is good enough to get me in the top 450 and promoted within the first year of promotions!

As we wait for the list to drop this month, which i'm sure KeyCapt is going to be right. The UMOS who got a 61 and are praying for a pass, there is hope. There is case law to support your argument. You can challenge questions that you thought were unfair and head to court. You might win the Lawsuit.

No more scores. Even on the DCAS dashboard they wont give you final adjusted score. It is available through their website. So I was informed that DCAS has changed how they want to administer and scale/score these exams. They also figured that by establishing big lists, they dont have to administer exams every 3-4 years. Now it will be 5-6 years. List will not die since new grading system takes so long to push out list. Congrats to all.

False information. Authority of Civil Service law in the State of New York, exams expire 4 years after the date of the first promotion from the list. Agencies may request an extension due to unforeseen circumstance or financial emergency (ie. a pandemic). The information stated above is categorically false and in direct contravention of State law. The list dies after a maximum of 4 years unless there is some kind of catastrophe or financial crisis.
Authority: Civil Service Law Section 56 - DURATION: The Civil Service Law provides that the duration of an eligible list shall be not less than one year or more than four years. If a list has been in existence for one year or more, it shall terminate upon the establishment of an appropriate new list.

False or not, DCAS established the last list, extended the list, and then when it was supposed to expire after the fifth year, they extended it again. So quote what you want, if they want to surpass the timeframe they will.

They would have to keep it going for 7-8 years to get through 4300. Highly unlikely
The law allows for an extension during a time of emergency. The pandemic was the emergency. Are we just hoping for another crisis in 4 years to get it extended? I dont deal in speculation and hope. I deal with facts and statistical probabilities. You can keep drinking your hope kool aid though.
Uhh i mean like someone else said we constantly keep getting proven wrong. Anything can happen. NYC will blame it on something like a budget crisis to why they have to extend the list. Or some random thing. And to those that are on the list congratulations, you have skin in the game. And you have a lot of people who failed originally that are pretty high on this list.
