LT Exam Scores

With 431 passer and probably another 700 on cusp within that 65-70 range who needs a curve.

 431 sgts passed??

Sounds much more likely than 200 something like the previous rumor going around.

If this is true, then the curve might be closer to the mid 60s.  I think that would more or less double the list with 2-3 throw-outs.

Just give a normal exam in 2 years.

Anyone know someone waiting to take the make up or date the make up is being given?  Sounds like DCAS doesnt want to release the passers until after the protest.

I think that Math may be a little off, yes its true that an exam like this sill be bottom heavy but not enough to where 700 people are within 5 points. Thats a little extreme.

To get another 700 people youd probably be reaching into the high 50s

People stop it with nonsense it people in the low 60s will make it. With the make up and a couple of throw outs list will be easily in the 700s. Lts lists were always small except the last one. So my advice start studying in 3 years.

People who failed should stick with what's the current reality: they failed and that they won't get made. Whatever happens down the road that benefits them is simply icing on the cake.

Lol. You do know that the last 3-4 exams all had people fail then pass. For example that Sgt exam had hundred of failures who then passed and jumped people who initially passed. There will be lawsuits if they dont do the same for this one. This exam was 10 times more difficult then the 2017 sgt and lt exam and those were curved

Stop posting here and start thinking how you going to argue your protest questions. No one here knows anything besides rumors at this point.

Ill be there on the 13th in Queens doing my best with my PG in tow. Im 13 points away which is a Hail Mary protest session for me but at this point I want to see where I went wrong if that could have be avoided. My hat is off to all the savants in here who were able to memorize all the minutia in the procedures that writers went to.

Theres not going to be lawsuits, you cant just sue because a test was difficult. Yes the test sucked, but all the material was fair game.

The sad part about getting score right away is that no one cares anymore, I asked several ppl in command if they wanted to go over questions to protest and no one is going to protest.

That suing rumor has been around since exams were administered. Your best bet is to protest every questions possible that you got wrong and hope it gets tossed. Time to move on with the reality that it was a bullshit and super shitty exam. Protest as much questions and sit back and relax to seen how this all plays out.

These people are very delusional, thinking they will get promoted again after scoring another 50s and 60s on the last sgt and Lt exam. How about study harder next time and actually score a passing score of 70?? stop with these nonsense curves already! Enough is enough.

I did well on exam but to say "study harder" doesnt apply to this exam. I could have gave you all 100 procedures that were questioned and you still wouldnt get near a 90.

Instead of trolling people who feel like they wasted 6 months of their lives, how about say that we should just have a fair exam? No curve, no tricks, just fair.

If they gave a fair exam, and someone died on list, then yes...study harder. But dont insult people or bring down people that studied their ass off only to get tripped up on a tricky exam.

If they gave u all 100 procedures for 6 months and dont score in the 90s you have a learning disability

2465 is super low.   I'm curious if that had anything to do with the 2021 contract bringing us to livable wages.

Not that low,  there's only 4210 SGT's in rank right now.  2465 is over half.

With make ups id say over 2500. If only 300-400 pass thats super low.

You obviously either didnt take the test or scored low for making that comment, completely missed the point. I wish we could discuss further but I rather not assist those who still have to take exam.

What he said is accurate. I could recite procedures to you, but that's not the kind of test it was.

Does anyone have any idea about how many names one point can affect your place on the list? I know a lot of us are in the same ballpark, just trying to get an idea.

Im going to go ahead and say that this exam will be bottom heavy. Very few scored between 90s and 80s.

One point on a Sergeant list is approximately 100 names...

People have throwing around that you said the pass rate for this Lts test (raw test day scores) are about 10%. Can you confirm this or are people just making stuff up.

That is false; I have not indicated any passing rate what so ever. Once I receive concrete info I will post.

I think a 10% pass rate sounds realistic, even though it hasnt Been confirmed. That is still about 250 passers considering all the indications from the low number of passers in many commands. The question is how big of a list the job wants and that will determine where everyone stands. Ive heard under normal circumstances the Job promotes about 200 Lieutent per year. Anyone have any guesses as to how big this list could possibly be when its all said and done?

200x4=800. At minimum they would need a list of 800-1,000.
