Never took Elite or Risingstar. I'm a KEY guy. I'll stand by them. It worked for all three of my exams back to back.

I agree. The Key is on point. the Instructor was ALWAYS on point and knows how to present the materials flawlessly. the Key's quizzes continually emphasized major points. The Key's CRAM are simply the BEST! For all of you reading this , please sign up for The Key and Rising Star for the obscure questions.......trust me you won't be disappointed.
The key and elite both gave a trash captains course, both had mistakes in their lectures and questions, both gave minimal capt questions. The capt rewrites the key gave were decent but made you feel dumb. Yano didnt even have a capt rewrite.... Honestly if rising star gave a course like they did for the 2017 lt exam for every exam they would corner the market. They def have the best questions because they don't focus on just the most tested procedures, they focus on everything and make you think and read a different way.
IMO rising star questions... and study on your own as your main....secondary key or elite.. they are both the same shit.

Mike may be a little out if the loop but they all are at thus point seeing you have to be retired in order to teach. I did the hard work but his course made the impossible possible with my hard work. We all know that we have to put in the work at home and study everything a few things over.....school prepares you on the difficult procedures and mostly tested......PERIOD! No need for crossword puzzles or 2-7 hour videos (overstimulating your brain with those learning modules LMAOOOO) The Key gives you breaks after 40-45 minute instructions. Their philosophy and approach is very simple......put in the work! They told us this repeatedly in class. It's up to you to pull through. They even provided you with rewrites (Captain exams) which really helped you guys prepare for the level of difficulty you saw on this exam,.......and guess what? Many passed because of this. Don't believe me ? Ask ALL of the Elite students that flocked over to They Key's CRAM at the FINAL hour! They will not lie and will tell you,...and the best part was them collaborating with The Rising Star to give their students the edge. Give credit to where credit is due folks ,.....Enough with the BS! The Key,.....best in the business.

Many of my buddies told me about this APP that the other school has. They all said it gave them "false hope" Questions were VERY EASY! Ask around, The Key and Rising Star are not like this. They challenged your brain and I believed it helped many this time around. Ask around. They will tell you. Nothing against the other school but I have to tell it like it is. The Key and Rising Star is NOT in the business of stroking egos. They want you to PASS.,...no need for all the bells and whistles ,....

They key had packets that weren't proofread. key classes also spent time on cops duties too. They discussed the NST cop n sgt. Every company has its own pluses and minuses.

Elite had tons of grammar errors too. I think both classes didnt have as much time to prepare the course as they wouldve liked so they were a bit rushed. Hell, all of us had about 4-5 months to prepare as is.

You hit it right on the nose. I used the Key for all 3 tests and I highly recommend them for future exam takers. The digital quizzes and prior re-writes helped so much. If I had more time, I would have 100% bought the RS question package to answer along the way. I was just trying to keep up with the material and trying to finish all the questions, so it was too much to take on for this one. I did that for the 2017 Lt test and it definitely paid off. The video/audio has to be supplementary studying. Reading, writing and actual studying of material is primary, well for me at least. Well done to all of us who passed a challenging test!

Also, think about it, The Key partnered up with Rising Star to assure your success on exam day,..they gave you rewrites written similarly (difficulty level) to your exam,Most Elite students admitted that his questions were trash,..long paragraphs to ask a silly Desk Officer question,.NOT enough Captain questions!!!!! Thats CRAZY! unlike Key and Rising Star,.Im sorry, a lot of them said that they were UNDER PREPARED,.better luck next time!!!!!!! Dont worry, there WILL BE another exam in 2 years!
