At this point the dept isnt keeping up with attrition. 60 sgts pretty much cover the 55 Lts being promted. Zero dent to lowering vacancies. Not that Adams cares anyways.

I hope everyone from this point on has signed up for & studies for the next Sgt exam. The next 100-200 should be alright but Im starting to have my doubts. This next class covers July. Say theres no class Aug, then End Sept/Beg Oct then possible December, then a class before list expires. Thats 3 classes. 360+ names you would need 120 per class. Not saying its impossible. But if they can get 4 classes in at 90 each, should be fine. Congrats to all those getting promoted Friday.

If they continue at 60 a month I think the numbers almost work out perfect to exhaust the list. Maybe thats the thought process behind this but who knows. Plus Im terrible at math so I could be wrong haha!

60 will probably be the monthly norm until list gets done with.

After this class Ill be about 200 names away. Hoping for the best! I cant see them cutting the list with only 100 or so names left.

Recruit class coming out end of month, next one isnt until October. I feel promotions will correspond. I hope Im wrong obviously.

Lol try midtown north. I heard 1 sgt per platoon per all 3 patrol squads. Thats how short they are.

A) because Im giving my opinion

B) with exception of 2018, every year had 6 classes

C) 3 classes thru 7 months leaves 5 months for 3 more classes just to fit in a 4th before it expires.

D) using common sense & trend theres 3 or 4 classes left, either 3x120 or 4x90 this doesnt even include the passovers.

E) if the list gets to 2300 after Friday, that still leave 368 plus passovers who have a right to promotion unless they were CARBed OUT or declined promotion. Still over 400 names with 6 months left.

F) 79 passovers minus 2 I know wont be promoted minus whoever got CARBed out.

Being here long enough Ive learned that no one really knows what will happen up until 4-2 weeks before a certain date. Ppl can give their opinions but the reality is its just that. Opinions. Didnt someone say no class till sept and swore up and down they were going to be correct? Well if Friday class happens then thats 2 classes already after that person said no class till sept. So take everything with a grain of salt on here

It was said that Lesson Plans were being developed for the next class. So a class is going in. Now, whether its this Friday or next, its going in, exactly 61. That being said, who starts BMOC on 4th of July. Then again we did start on Memorial Day. class is going in.

my original post was to encourage people to continue studying in the event while pointing out the benefits of getting a head start to studying & getting promoted prior to LT exam.
