Ceremonial confirmed promos for Friday at 1pp. 2 sets (morning and afternoon) No numbers though. Imo the fact that its NOT at the academy 75 sounds right.

Thats what I was told, no LT and 60 SGTs (unconfirmed #) Hopefully my guy is wrong. The numbers arent confirmed, the only thing that is are promotions are definitely Friday

Anxiety this dept creates is Crazy. Some say 60, others 75 but no numbers confirmed. Here i am about 80 names away not knowing if I'll make it or not. Just have to laugh. Lol.

As I posted before I heard 75 from someone who I believe to be a reliable source. They also indicated the finest would be tomorrow which I hope is not the case because that leaves a very small time frame.

what if someone may be on the list for this coming class but they want to postpone the promotion till next class? does anyone know what needs to be done? do we make a phone call, does personnel notify you in advance of finest dropping? what if the finest drops, your name is on the list, but you don't want to be promoted yet? also, would you be automatically put in for next class or would it be more complicated than that?

Call uniform promotion unit. You have to send a 49 in. Its a few sentences. Name tax. What list youre on. Your list number and you want to defer promotion. Then you send the same thing for the class you wanna go in. And yes as long as you have no holds you are fine and you will go right in. But your friend is rolling the dice with how infrequent they are promoting. Its a really simple process. I did it two years ago for my shield and then deferred my bmoc a few months. The phone number is 646-610-6888. Nothing like waiting until the last minute. Good luck to whoever is asking. Theyll have the email you send the 49 to.

Ill take that, 160 would leave around 300 left to finish the list between July and January. I would be comfortable with that.

At first I was disappointed when that big march class did not happen, then I wanted to blame taketheday for his September rumors. I dont know about you guys but I would love for the next class to be September because i want nothing to do with being the rookie sergeant doing whatever they have planned for this summer.

Also heard 60 for Friday from a friend in personnel. FYI

Dept wants you to be the patrol supervisor/conditions sgt/crime analysis/ training sgt/ domestic violence sgt all while being a squad/patrol supervisor.

It's definitely happening on Friday. I got an email that all training on Friday is canceled due to promotions. I just don't know if Sergeants are included in this round of promotions.
