I think that unit has 2 sgts and 1 lt (who I believe retired) so not exactly making a dent on patrol numbers

Just heard directly from a precinct CO that a class was planned for Thanksgiving week and City Hall told them to take it off the calendar until "after the election." So it may still happen but no longer set in stone.

The most important part of the news is that there was a class tenatively scheduled for Thanksgiving week.

So traditionally theres two classes. Thanksgiving and Christmas. Rumor has it promos may occur the Monday or Tuesday week of thanksgiving. However city hall has not approved yet from what Im aware of. But hearing they want big sgt class. No numbers though

Vacancies must be at 500+ for sgts at this point. Can anyone with access to the info please confirm ?

The answer to your question is not only no its also most likely a false Statement. A new administration wasnt elected 15 hours ago and then the top of the list phone call made was to slow down promos. Lol.

Its the week of Thanksgiving, so its a possibility since they wouldnt be able to do it at the end of the week.

It would be the 22nd. Promos are never on a Tuesday. Furthermore theres no reason why it wouldnt be on the 26th or the 29th. If theres even promos that week which I hope there is.

Promo set for 11/23 as of now. FYI this will most likely be my class w available info on promos. I am moving in w my career so hopefully someone can continue to supply. The numbers for this week are in line w numbers previously posted. Low 50s lt and around 90 to 100 sgt. I wish you all the best and always have each others back

CPTs are on the chopping block for this month. They may get delayed to December, but SGTs and LTs are still slated to through on the higher end so that's a plus! Remember though. Nothing's final till the finest drops!
