 Why would they hold up promotions over one person being investigated. Especial to people who have nothing to do with the investigation or that rank.

 That cant be a real post, dont know what you did as a cop but if your complaining about that it legit sounds whiny. I dont know or honestly care what you did prior to promotion but working a little more is not a big deal, put your big boy pants on. The amount of times ive been stuck doing doubles plus without expecting to when coming to work that day the last 5 years in my unit I just did, took my money and went home. Rather do the crap at Boss pay, stop complaining.

You people need to seriously relax because your time will come sooner or later and you bitching on the internet not going to expedite anything. Enjoy that OT and only having to worry about yourself because people graduating academy nowadays are special category of POs.  It all depends on where you go as a Sgt, and what what you did prior to promotion. I came from regular patrol and am much happier as a sgt. Yes, it comes with its own set of stressors but it's still much better than being a PO.

 I could careless about talking when getting made I dont even know what that supposed to mean. Never said you were taken care of or had an inside gig, I dont assume anything about what anybody does or honestly care. Im not bitching I dont focus my life on this job like most people seem to now a days.  

In regards to todays new guys I can only imagine how they are and the headaches they may cause. Ill make sure to make ya chase me around so your compliance reports are a mess lol, this is just a forum we all are just pawns in this big picture do our time and retire.
