Well, I will start, i heard they asked city hall for 100 or so Lieutenants for the next fiscal quarter (October, November, & December). If approved there is hope for anyone who is in the next 100 names to be promoted by the end of the year. Unfortunately they did get the ok for 100 the last quarter but only did 75-80 or so. We shall see

They got approval for 107 for this quarter. They promoted 80 total advancing the list over 100 due to pass overs. If they do a class Sept 27 of 27 or more they still hit the goal of 107 for the quarter. Even though thats an October class thats still this quarters funds.

Are you hearing of a 9/27 class?
No. I am saying if they do an October class that would most likely when they would promote and that would essentially give you the number approved for the 3rd quarter while still not affecting the 4th quarter budget. Just tossing around hypothetical possibilities.
@truthseeker any rumors floating around? I heard a couple from the current bmoc say that there would be upcoming big classes. Anyone hear anything of this nature?
I was saying the same thing. I know people are saying its too early but usually by now we hear rumors, some a little out there but the chatter is still there. I was thinking that the department was focusing its efforts on this years UNGA and promotions took the backseat for now
