I actually have no clue what promos will be like for 2021. I can tell you any budget cutting will not help. Notice I never stated will decrease it Bc I have no clue. All I do know is that budget is the number one thing effecting promo rate to date

Last I heard it was supposed to be 550 today and 350 in like a month or two. Dont know the official number but theres always a newspaper article when a class gets sworn in so well know later

With 599 new recruits sworn in today the Dept definitely needs more sgts. I m sure there will be another bmoc this month but as usual nothing will be confirmed until the last minute.

Love the optimism, but Im sure theres no real urgency since they wont be on the streets for 6 months. It definitely guarantees a class soon, but not necessarily this month. But Im with you brother, make it in Jan lol

I told you guys I heard no january a week or two ago, they did 200 sgts in two months. Skipping a month isnt surprising.

Current bmoc is in until Jan 18. Just because they dont do another promotion the last week of January doesnt mean they wont do one early or mid February. At the end of the day youre talking a 2-3 week difference. Not a big deal.

Good point. And to your point my guy in the academys exact words were next class is beginning / mid February.
