Shouldnt effect bmoc. They can do two tours and small classrooms like they have been.

Either one of two things are gonna happen. It will be 2 week bmocs at 60 per class, on a constant basis, or one big dump at a time with 2 tours split to fill vacancies.

Im guessing itll be the latter. They probably did that one huge class because it had been a long time and they were in desperate need.

When we are Hearing numbers for next bmoc... is that in general for next class that goes in or confirmed 12/22 class going in but just have no details on how many ?

Nothing is ever confirmed until finest. But it seems 60 to 70 will be a go atleast for now

And thats for 12/22? Seems weird to put in class right before The holidays . January would seem more practical .

They usually do a Christmas promotion, but since it appears the promotion will be upfront, it's business as usual. Word is promotion is 12/22, and BMOC starts on 12/23.

Keep hearing 105 sgts and 65 LTs. But no one is will to put their name to it. Question. When would LTs be notified to take picture just to maybe shorten the week of not knowing blue balls

So , my opinion is the finest should come down latest FRIDAY, that would mean ID pics Monday and then promotion Tuesday.

There is a lot of hear say going on and we wont know until maybe Wednesday. I heard big clas may similar to the one in there now and than changed to 75....? Lets just wait and see

What if Trump declares himself king well there wont be BMOC or if covid spikes to new levels. The only thing to agree on is no one knows anything.

I don't see them putting in 60 sergeants maybe 50 lieutenant. I could be wrong but you tell me that the nypd only going to fill in 10 vancies for sergeant ? I think that 60 sergeant number will be higher.

Its 900 between now and February. So 550 now, 350 in a month or two

A class of 50 Lts is pretty large. 60 Sgts going in with that amount of Lts doesnt sound right. But in the end I have no inside info, and some of the guys who posted it have been very accurate with their info in the past. I hope it changes to at least 100 Sgts.

We have to try and look at the bright side though. A class of Sgts is better then no Sgts. And dont forget ... a big Lts class means theyll need to fill those Sgt positions lost.

Lets keep putting in classes. Shorter bmocs are also a great thing.

I called the promotion unit about 10 mins ago, I spoke with a sergeant there who stated there the exact number of Sgt promotions is not known yet, waiting for the sign off.

Okay, is this current bmoc separated into different classrooms ?

My only guess is that different classrooms were told different things. Getting 50 from some cops in bmoc but also getting 140 from other guys who are in ? Very odd.

Ok cool so as of today they are not filing in any sergeant vacancies. Because they are promoting 50 lt and 50 sergeants. I found that very weird.

On the surface it doesnt make sense for 50 lts and 50 sgts because youre filling no sgt slots but if you think about it, it fills lts which they desperately need and buys them a month of sgts. So maybe it means big sgts class next month.
