My friend who is in right now told me that if the LT there finds out about a class coming up, the LT will tell them. Fingers crossed.

As of right now, instructors of BMOC said there were no plans for the next class.

I find that hard to believe due to a holiday promotion is always in play. Also.. they put in 9 Captains. They aren't gonna save another 9 or so for the holiday promotion, makes no sense.

I see Sgts and Dets, maybe some LTs. Instructors are spreading false news like it's a game. If they didnt plan on another class there wouldn't be a rush 2 week bmoc. Get serious now.

I dont think the instructors know. I agree that there is going to be another promotion before the end of the year. But I bet you those instructors know what we know and thats nothing. Remember a week before this promotion know one knew anything

There will be December promos. Executive heavy. No numbers for sgt and lt yet, but definitely planned as of now.

If the commissioner is really serious about promoting a lot on these lists then there is really no reason we shouldnt see mass promotions going forward especially in the rank of sergeant and lieutenant where there are an abundance of vacancies to date.

Unfortunately theres this pesky problem of the budget during the pandemic. honestly the pandemic slowed the list but also extended it at the same time. Maybe a blessing? Depends on pace moving forward

I was told there is a promotion happening on December 22nd but no one knows numbers or which ranks. My buddy currently in Sgt Bmoc said their BMOC ends December 15th. Hopefully they will put another large Sgt class in.

The finest came down for the Lt's. They go to their commands effective tomorrow 12/3...Also spoke to my friend in Sgt Bmoc. No dream sheet yet. Not sure what they are waiting on.

Yea same thing. That there is a promotion scheduled and that The Job would love to pump out another 85 SGTs but like all things in this department its not even day to day its minute by minute. Shea promoted a bunch of his 44 people the last go around so does that mean he is leaving or was it people that would of been sprinkled in through the the year but their was no promotions. It seems no one knows anything these days.
