I just heard the next class will be 100. I tried to get the source because this guy never gives out information, but all he would say was its from a very reliable person. If this is true it would be great, but I wont get my hopes up to high. Until i see it happen, its just another rumor.

That 50 is for the Lt group, not sgts, sgts should be about 75-100

Word from uniformed promotions staff. Next group of Sgts is 80. Mid-end July mentoring and early Aug BMOC.

The effort is to promote the appropriate amount of POs to Sgts to maintain the depts Sgts numbers at regular staffing levels. The dept does not make efforts to exhaust a list just bc a number of people passed. The dept doesnt care if everyone makes it they just want to simply fill the Sgt spots as they free up. Youre a number to this dept in this case its your list number and they either reach it or they dont. With that said good luck

Yea .....thats exactly what I'm saying.....the numbers are showing that they are promoting what they need and not to finish the list. The second this list came out no-one expected that it would be finished, like i said before if ur over 2000 start studying caus thats what I'm doing 4 years is nowhere enough time to promote 2700 people

It seems the going trend is ~50-60 in each class every 2 months. It appears they're incorporating mentoring as part of BMOC ... so, 2-3 weeks of mentoring and 5-6 weeks of BMOC. They're not running them in conjunction with each other, so it'll be a class every 2 months if the trend continues. Everybody is short because there's so much dead weight on this job. On paper, there's likely no "shortage" of bosses, but aside from a few commands, everyone sounds like they're short because cucks will suck off CO's to get some made up position. Don't be in such a rush to get the rank, it ****ing blows.

Its really a shame the mentoring combined with the extended BMOC is destroying this list. The vacancies are there. They should be putting in much larger classes. its very unfortunate this list wont make it past the original projections.

It wouldn't be so bad if they had mentoring occuring at the same time there's a BMOC class in session. But as it is now things are moving at such a crawling pace that it feels like there's virtually no movement on this list. 50 every 2 months only adds up to 300 for the year.

Really so sad that this is how the list is going to move. Its ridiculous to make it this big for literally no reason only to promote it with no sense of urgency, just shows how backwards this city is. Bottom line if this supposedly mass exodus of SGTs hitting 20 years doesnt happen in the next year or 2 list is lucky to even hit 1700 at this rate

They made it a little past 700. My friend whose list number is in the early 700s got email for mentoring. Now I am wondering was this due to names once again being skipped over. I will not complain. I am just happy the list is even moving!!!
