So officially we are through 1333 names after 3 years. Thats just about 450 a year without even accounting for 6 months of no promotions. I think we can realistically get through 1000 names in the next two years between promotions and current/future resignations. I think anybody below 2300 should feel good about their chances. Heres hoping we all make it!
If we got through 1333 in essentially 2.5 years, I think we can do 1281 (assuming that # is accurate) in 2 if they really push to clear to the list. This is all assuming the pandemic doesn't get worse of course. I do think they are going to want avoid packing a ton of people into schools to give another test.
Wow. That is ridiculous. So how does it work for those guys out on military then?
i'm pretty sure you cannot be denied promotion for instances such as being pregnant or on military leave. i would assume being sick would fall under that category. so what the job will do is promote you at a later date.
Things change. I know there was a time you couldnt be denied promotion for a pending CCRB but one my sgts said there are several sgts being held up for LT due to CCRB right now. I know for military they will just promote you at a later date. My buddy was in bmoc with a guy from the 2013 test. He was deployed at that time and the promoted him with guys from our list. I would imagine that if your out with COVID they dont want you anywhere near the academy

You have to be full-duty to be promoted. Military UMOS are promoted once their list number is reached, but they'll attend BMOC and the ceremony when they arrive. Same goes for pregnancy.
If you're restricted, limited, modified, regular sick or even LOD, you're screwed and will get passed over. The LOD one doesn't make sense to me, that should be an exception.
I will leave the current BMOC from now on until the next class is promoted. I understand we are trying to determine how many the next classes will be but i just think we see our names in black for such a long time that the guys getting promoted should see their names in green as promoted to give them a little bit of joy.
