Bmoc has no further classes for Lts scheduled. They say a class of Sgts is going in soon and a second class of Sgts after labor day. No info on the sizes of the Sgts classes. Will keep you posted. Our last day is tentatively the 26th

I heard "rumors" that the first Captain's class will be end of August. If that's the case, we should have a decent amount of vacancies which may lead to an August/September LTs class.

Agreed !! A decent amount of them are house mouses that never did Patrol or any street time. They get promoted to LT and then want to play cop to make up for the years they were never cops.

She was transferred from the 46 to the 47. Shes pretty clueless but I guess just doing the desk for over a year worked in her favor.

Exactly. Ive had Sgts and LTs who honestly, If they didnt pass these basic exams to become bosses they would still be doing 311 auto in their old B house.

I bet you wear a skirt nicely. Dont leture me about crap Ive done admin, patrol and special ops. I still have a significant amount of collars Gun collars, dv, 511, 1192, narco and much more. My point is this individual is a mess and the job has no way of growing leaders. Im talking about well rounded leaders. I dont hate on admin people however if thats all you have done its a problem. I have done admin and its a hell of a lot more stressful then patrol at times but patrol, arrests, investigative work and dealing with jobs like edps is something you want a person who supervises other cops to be proficient in not just book world but real experiance. You dont know the person I speak of so dont interject and dont judge me based on assumptions. Youre an ass. The collars was relavant to an xo that pushes people to make collars when they themselves havent done **** as a cop. Youre just an instigator and I feel bad for your future platoon. I talk the talk bc Ive walked the walk. Dont ask or tell your subordinates to do something you werent willing to do or didnt have the stones to do when you were a cop!

I really hope you're kidding with this post. I'm pretty sure EVERYONE signed up to be a COP at one point and not an administrative assistant. If you can't handle the streets, you've been a skirt your whole career, & you're a supervisor, you have no business wearing a badge. This pertains to everyone who took an oath to be a COP. I would rather work with a street cop than the cop who has been in Crime Analysis since his 2nd year on a job.

Buddy I work the streets and yes the office is a different kind of stress so I wont take that back. No I dont have hooks and worked **** commands so go to hell. The 43 is one of my top picks I like the command worked the pjs there so pls stfu. My other top picks are the 41/44/47 and hope to be left on patrol, idc for admin work as I said not my cup of tea different kind of stress. Id rather roll around with an EDP then bull**** reports that everyone is breathing down your neck for. As for everyone else there isnt any other news on the next bmoc, I will keep you posted.

Leslie isn't wrong saying admin is a different type of stress. Yes it can be more stressful than patrol. Is it ALWAYS more stressful no. Is it more dangerous? No it isnt.
