50 Lieutenants are being promoted on June 6th (8 from the 2015 list and 42 from the new list). Another 50 are scheduled to be promoted on June 29th.

The finest came down yesterday. Its only 7. And that can only mean 43 from the new list will get promoted on june 5th to make a total of 50 for lt bmoc starting june 6th.

You are forgetting about the LT who was already promoted but didn't go through Bmoc. He counts too, so only 42 will get promoted off the new list.

The job has 1600 Lts. How are they going to replace 81% of those?

I am in the 500s. I don't have any source, just being positive. The 2011 sgt exam, they promoted 1600 people. What was the percentage back then?

If they promote 92 from the new list in June, and then the average of 15/month holds for the remainder, the list will reach about 797 spots.

Not a single person on this job could possibly predict how long the list will run. Name a single *high ranking* boss that has held the same exact spot for 4 years. It doesn't happen. The PC, COD, COP, Chief of XYZ could swear they'll make the whole list (or cut it) but by the time the list runs, it's a new regime.

Prove me wrong. Are there any 3+ stars that have been in the same position for the last 4 years? Honestly, i'm curious.
