Well we made it to the six month mark ladies and gentlemen...and still no list from dcas....why am I not shock...because its DCAS. Hey ManHands feb is almost over and we still dont have a list?! Lol

What had happened was , the system / main computer burned due to high number of passers. All data has been lost. It couldnt handle the amount that passsed.
Why give updates when the clowns on here will ridicule you?! I heard may from a reliable source..that will be 9 months. By dcas standards they will be ahead of the game if the list is released by then.
Another day and another Sgt saying "enjoy your chart days". You love your chart days so much then turn down your promotion and let the next guy get made.
What's left in the process for the list to come out? How does someone know it's coming out in may? As of right now what is holding up the list coming out? They finished going over all the protests, no?

Anyone have thoughts on SDS or SSA taking the promotion? I'm not sure it's worth it. The pay differential is not that big, but Sergeants get the chart days. I think maybe I could get LDS or LSA but obviously that's a gamble. I know the prescription, eyeglass and dental get a little worse as you go up the chain. Are there other factors to consider?

Dental already blows as a Sgt so who cares it doesnt get any worse in my opinion. I notice you say its a gamble... always take the sure promotion. Dont bank on any promises or expectations. You take the promotion that comes first, just my honest opinion thought

LSA or LDS is a gamble. Already have SDS. The only reason Id take Lt is the chance to get LDS because Id make more. Otherwise Im giving up chart days for $2k. Seeing if theres other benefits.

Yea thats though man. It depends on how long you plan on staying. I think youre better off taking the promotion if you plan on staying for the long run or if you finacially need to stay longer bc quality of life is better the higher you go. You must be working hard where youre at unless you have a really good gig like intel. I might be making more with overtime now but quality of life is very important too. You can only make that decision just dont ever look back once you do
