For anyone in that Sgt Mentoring program make sure you guys are getting paid for travel time. 1:30 hours per day in Borough, 2:30 hours per day out of Borough. We are only "temporarily assigned" and by contract they're supposed to pay portal to portal.

Your not temporarily assigned.
go to ur job phone or intranet and run the name / tax.
Everyone has been made assigned to their command.
So that squashes that.
Secondly, What ??!! Lmao
reporting from your command to another location with your personal vehicle would constitue travel time.
You may be the only one traveling from ur old command to new command
go get a locker in your new command and smack your Ops Co for not knowing any better

Fack..... I'll call Labor Relations tomorrow and get the full details. Summer all out gets travel time but then again this program "isn't" summer all out.
- 6. Attached as Appendix A is an updated list of members who will be temporarily assigned to the 7 patrol precincts participating in this year's All-Out session (40th, 4e, 6703, 75th
t, 113th, and 120th Precincts), as well as 8 additional precincts (25th, 32n 4, 43'4, 73rd, 7761, 79th8:1s 101m, and 103'4) selected to participate in the rnentoring program. Contained within Appendix B is a list of members who are currently assigned to a patrol precinct or patrol services area that
will participate in this program at their current command.
fact is everyone is finalized in their mentoring command.
stop being a douche bag by pasting nonsense when I already told you people are Assigned to their Mentoring Commands already. When you look it up on The Intranet or Directory and u see i am wrong, (that you are still assigned to your OLD COMMAND rather than your Mentoring Command), screen shot it and post it.

based on this logic, being that we're temporarily assigned to the supervisor leadership course, wed be getting travel time as well...idk travel time on this job is weird...technically, when you have traffic court, you should be getting travel time but we don't...does anyone know if travel time is actually defined in detail in the Admin Guide or any of the police union contracts?

You are not temporarily assigned
run your own tax / name tomorrow
your mentoring command comes up as your command
its temporary in the sense that its short term stay till promotion arrives.
You ARE assigned to your mentoring command on paper
I think the mentoring program is a good thing. The command I went to they ask us what we want to do for the most part. The desk or be patrol supervisor. I've done the desk 2 times and Patrol supervisor oncr in this sh*t hole that I'm in and it's not that bad. did the stuff for a male stabbed, special category missing, use of force investigations TRI. Only thing missing is a male shot. Even the sergeants I've been with stated that they wished they had this for a while instead of getting thrown into the fire.

It doesn't matter what the intranet says your command code is. Run you pepr and see if you're classified as temporary or not. Not arguing anything relating to eligibility of the travel time but the intranet doesn't exactly prove anything.

Hahahaha ::::deep breath::::
moving forward now..
no travel time
Because they are all assigned on Paper to their current Commands.
This dude is stubborn AF lol
Bone is right but it doesn't matter cause we still not getting travel time as per Labor Relations. "Mentoring programs don't get travel time" that's what I was told even if we are just "temporarily" assigned. If there are any changes I'll advise through here. If anyone gets any other info let us know too.
Hey this may put you at ease, today the 3 star Chief of Patrol spoke to us in bmoc and mentioned the next two classes being put in right after the current bmoc graduates and how for the first time in a long time we will have a surplus of Sgts which will be nice for all of us, longer meals, no problems getting days off, it should be nice
Idk about confirmed...there are a handful of training days that don't involve the bmoc people...they could overlap both classes if they stagger us but they would have to give you a different classroom as we have nametags, mock command logs, and a big ass binder set up at every chair in the one we are already in. My guess would be June 12 or if not, June 19. I don't think we have been told an exact date yet.
Lol ... look near the door ... there is closet with cart in it.. they will have you pile your books and name tag on it... then they will say adios... least thats what they did for us
