Sgts development course is now a week longer to include CIT training. The current group does not finish until May 12. I don't know if they would start a class in the middle of a month

May 12th on paper ... you go to commands for a week for field training which is included in that... when you are at field training the new class starts ... if they have one ... thats how its done

There is a Lt and a Capt class from what I've heard for May but it is not sounding like there will not be a May Sgts class.

Has there ever been a Sgt / LT / AND capt "leadership" course all going on at the same time ?

it usually seems like its sgt's one month.. LT and Captains in others

Very very very late in may but it's closer to June now. Lots of going back and fourth. There is a male white very obese black framed glasses figurehead who doesn't want a may class. He is trying to make it stop for us. May is going to be rough.... numbers in 800s will not make it in time for LT exam. However, the ones taking the courses will be smarter than 8 cops.

im in the mid 700s and I think Im 50/50 at this point...not confident in June/July class consecutively

I really dont see how anyone in the 700's would have any issues. You have MAY - JUNE - JULY & (AUGUST to get promoted upfront which they Can and Have done atleast 2x in the last 13 months

I would think that if the training is 6 weeks now, the classes will all generally be bigger unless they intend to overlap Sgt classes. Might mean less down classes as well.

Word in the streets is 90 people going in next Monday, and another class overlapping that one 2 weeks after that. Kind of hard to believe but lets stay optimistic. Now I'll be just waiting on the confirmation from the reliable guys here.
