Hello! Old member from 2008 Sgt Exam and 2011 Lt. Exam.

Lost account info so starting new!

1. How sure are we about this test happening in October/November 2017?

-You have to search tooth and nail to find the Captains test info on DCAS website.

-Theres no FINEST yet.

-Im looking to do Rising Star because the 2011 Lt test studying with Fast Track (Elite) didn't help (was pushed through on judgement Q's)

-I'm not looking to spend the $$$ if the test isn't going to be in 2017.

-Any Thoughts??

The depth requested a date in oct/nov for dcas to administer a capt test. Dcas has approved it and tentatively scheduled it. Obviously the test date is not set yet but they have set the filing period for may.

I have no doubt the test will be in oct/nov but it's way too early to start. 6 months should be plenty. Maybe 7. Starting 10 months might not be a great idea
