Big news....my boss just sent me an email from the SBA...in it is says that the jobs course of action will be to promote those on the list "proceed with promotions unless stopped by the courts" it also says that it has found some problems with some sgts and those sgts will not be promoted....it ends by reminding them that they are on probation for 1 year after promotion so basically saying we are gonna promote you but if the investigation leads us to you back you go....I'm passing this along because I think it's wonderful news, keep the ball rolling good luck to everyone

Just spoke to a guy in bmoc, said no MAY class for LT. But nothing has been shutdown for Sgt

Sounds Great!!!!!!! I hope you are NOT talking out of your a$$, because this department sometimes acts retarded, says 1 thing but does absolutely the other way around, if you can, PLZ post that email on this forum.

If we were notified the last week of may for June, day 1 of BMOC would be memorial day. Have they ever started a class on a holiday?

it would be following week.......promotion date would be last day of june or july 1st.....that would work out right before holiday weekend

I'm not sure what nonsense ur talking about and why ur actually talking about July, when according to Wednesday's court decision, "roughly 40 sergeants selected for promotions will get their new badges in late May or early June as planned", I hope this is true, otherwise it would seem like this list is gonna drag like 2011 list. The department is already short for Lts and Sgts.

this is RETARDED, I also was there on February but today before EOT I saw my notification for the same day too, but my admin Lt. is trying to cancel it. I would go to every Phase 1 training as long as it keeps my D!ck away from the streets. I wish we all could get assigned to the Desk Sgt duties for at least 2 weeks before the BMOC. Let me know if ur going, we will definitely have some fun revealing the identity of HitMiser and letting Wingnut know about it.
