Ok thanks for the clarification. I heard this as well.

As long ad they do a class, even if it's only 5 people, will be good for those on the list because then it isn't in jeopardy of being thrown out.

Also I agree, can't wait to see who the first class consists of. I'd be willing to bet all the passovers have IAB logs of varying legitimacy. Too many pissed off people.

I think the job knows what it is doing. They will skip anyone accused of cheating until they clear him or her. Other then that it will be promotions as usual.

If the job acknowledges that people may have cheated by conducting an investigation, and skipping people wouldn't that give credence to a lawsuit if they are found guilty? And then wouldn't that open the door to the list being in jeopardy?

For the final time...the list is going no where...the WORSE CASE....anyone who took makeup who can't provide solid documentation will not be getting promoted off the list

This is turning into the 2011 Sgt test by saying EVERYONE CHEATED... That's not the case here.. No one cheated... They took advantage of a loophole.. And some retards on this site couldn't keep their mouths shut and started posting test questions 1 minute after the exam.. No one cheated... Refer to them as lowlife scum of the earth that don't deserve to call 85's or 10-13's.

Exactly. people on this site not only discussed questions, they came out and said what procedures weren't on the test. i could've easily scored in the 90s of I knew what not to waste time on. People are fixated on a small group of people who may have taken adavnatage of the system, when in reality it's the fault of people who couldnt keep their mouths shut or stop typing away here.

You are right though, they took advantage of a loophole that up until now the City and Department felt was perfectly acceptable. A lot of our anger and disgust is being directed at the wrong people. The system needs to be changed so the loophole is closed in the future, don't hate the player, hate the game.

Like it or not, there is no enforceable rule or policy that says you can't discuss the test. The only "cheaters" the job can go after are the ones who fraudulently applied to take the make up test.

The first promotions off the list will be on 29th. People will be skipped while they investigate, but the list is not getting thrown out and most on the list will be cleared and then made.

Calling it a loophole is part of this new progressive movement of lack of accountability.. I'm not saying they didn't cheat, I'm saying the blame must also be put on the people talking about the test. Between the board and people taking about this exam at work, a 90 wouldn't be a problem for someone that studied hard. The fault lies with the people talking, the test taker, and the system. The in basket was discussed at length here. Not sure why you're attacking me. I texted the Mod to take posts down after the exam but Bigfoot is only one person and it became so rampant that I didn't care anymore.
