I know this may be a stretch but is there any possibility that the answer keys varied by each person? That could explain the 3 different protest days. I understand they wont be completely different but whats to say they didnt mix up 5 questions?

Lmao,....no brother. It doesn't work like that.

I was referring to the placement of questions not content of questions. There doesnt seem to be a method as to how they picked who goes on what date to the protest, the answer key has already been leaked which I am sure they figured would happen thus reducing the number of people who will show tommorow and thursday to protest.

ok so clearly 45 and 54 are very good to fight. everyone fight them. yup---i got duped too. and the job knows about it. Dep Comm Shea is part of the Irish Mafia that runs a damn promotional school. you dont think he knows about this hideous debacle??????? his school is going to take a mondo hit not only because of their garbage material but because nothing they taught was on the exam. the gravy train to dublin is going to be history. the little birdies on misfud s shoulder must have been one of Insano s vultures or crow s because god damn that birdie was slinging us ca-ca. pure fecal matter!!!!!!! Yano is in the witness protection program rite now construing puzzles and interactive learnign modules with cyber figurines for the next Lt exam. go and fight. yeah---i ve heard all this garbage about another exam and i dont doubt it, but they must come up with some kind of list. 241 pass last time and this time 128????? that is crazy! they gotta formulate some kind of garbage list, they always do. look at ERNIE---he was a low 60 guy and know he s overdosing on kool aid to screw us.

I specifically remember there was a question that was missing words in the question because when I was reading it I said to myself these guys have 6 months to write a test and they can't even proof read it. It made it difficult to understand what they were asking. It was more towards the end of the test. I don't go until Thursday so I'm not sure what number it was or if it was a research question but if it's not a research question people should protest for obvious reasons. Anyone know the question I'm talking about?

If I were you guys I would protest the Social Media question because there was no right answer from what I saw and there was a question on the in-basket where a certain system was down for maintenance which would prevent you from transferring objects to another location. PM me for details

Question number 7 is going to be thrown out, when comparing the patrol guide and the packet of information all the choices were correct. They wanted the incorrect answer.

Gamblor Key: 70

DCAS: 68no

I am going to the protest session tomorrow and will fight tooth and nail to pick up a couple points. I am trying to prepare material to use in my arguments. Any specific suggestions on how to protest questions?  I am looking at 1, 5, 7, 28, 42, 45, 54, 61, 79, 87, & 103.

Did anyone figure out #1? WTF! I am going to try to argue for a double answer

Question number 5, choice D is also least correct . Bring your PG with you and you'll see.

Regarding the protest: be sure to tell the DCAS employee you would like to submit copies of your patrol guide as evidence. They will come around and stamp it. You can then turn in your supporting documents before leaving. Spread the word.
FYI: Don't be shy during the protest. A few people in my class were working together, and it seemed ok to do so.

I heard that some proctors allowed people to work together and other proctors did not. Hoepfully, I will get lucky and be able to work with others.

I fought #1 as a double answer. Item AA AND Item S seem to back my choice so try it! I also fought 78 because they locked us in wrong procedure..... so here's hoping!

For those working the day of the protest, DCAS provides a certificate of attendance. Produce your certificare to your respective commands and should be excused.

For the 2011 LT exam my buddy told me it was two MOS, one which he knows is in the rank of Captain AND one DCAS employee. He also mentioned that DCAS puts up a good fight in having the least amount of questions thrown out. Could anyone verify this?

"This Board is composed of a lieutenant designated by the Department, a lieutenant designated by the union and a representative designated by DCAS."

I went today in manhattan. They let us speak to each other and pass materials to each other. They let us work on protests together. I was even able to pass my finished protest sheet to someone across the class so they could take a look. I was able to find 3 questions that are very worth while to protest. I was the last one in the room, I protested 8 questions. #45, #89 and #106 have a very good shot. It only helps if the people going tomorrow (Thursday) go and protest the same to help everyone on the fence out. #89 is the one with the terrible grammar in the question. It basically said that a cop was asking a boss for advice because he was "several summons" in regards to an arrest. Its quite obvious they meant to say that he was served a summons in regards to an arrest. I protested and said that I could not understand the stem of the question due to poor grammar and incorrect word usage. That one is an easy one for everyone to protest to make sure it gets thrown out. #45 and #106, private message me and I can explain how those are wrong. Don't give up, a lot of people gave up in the room, that's a terrible attitude.

I'm protesting #118 as a double answer. I am kicking myself for giving them that one due to fatigue but I will be quoting the New York Times Style Guide in my protest.

thanks for verifying this.. and is it safe to say after the protest session our promotions are in the hands of 3 indivdials :/  I JOKE

wishful thinking: With this new LT contract, I hope many LTs run to the pension section looking to retire before our list is generated. This way the dept and dcas feel to make a bigger list.
