LMAO - I am going to start studying now. By then I should be able to achieve the level of mastery on all the information that is now required to perform well on these exams. On second thought, maybe I'll skip it. I think I'll just stop giving a $%@$ about the job. I'll enjoy my vacations, drink too much beer, appreciate my loving wife, love and enjoy my children before they are grown and gone . . . yeah, I think I'll do that instead.
They're really pushing the Community Policing angle these days. So, in addition to the ability to recite all the other materials chapter and verse, you will also be tested on your knowledge of Dale Carnegie's How to Win Friends and Influence People. If you want to really knock the next one out of the park you should start hitting it hard now. Otherwise stop caring and drink more beer as I advise above. i am following that advise as I type this.

Given how poorly we did, I say late, late, late, late, late, late, late, late, late, late Fall 2015. Maybe the very latest in the very, very, very, very latest would be early winter 2015. Because this list is going to have a squad's amount or platoon amount of people on it.

They'll throw out enough questions to make a decent list and say it was a fair test. Then in 2-3 years give another test. Shame on anyone that actually wastes 8 months of their life for this scam.
I'd say let's all refuse to file, but Judases like FORMERIAB will mail fee first before anyone so that idea is out the window because no one is united on this miserable job.
i feel for Sgts with 10-12 years on the job because this format for the Lts test will be the new norm. In 2002, 6 months after 9/11, they gave a Sgts test that had horrible scores and they gave a new one in 2003, less then 2 years later. Everyone thought it would be easy and/or fair because of how bad the city looked with so much people failing. Well the 2003 test was just as bad if not worse...

I did the in-basket last. I would've run out of time too but I applied the 'Abracadabra' method made famous in an episode of 'Laverne and Shirley:' fill in the circles like so: A-B-A-C-A-D-A-B-A . . . and then repeat until they are all completed. You laugh but I'll probably be a chief someday . . . oh look, I need another beer.
I know how ya all feel. And I know how hard it is to put so much of your time effort and sacrifices so it can end like this. But don't give up on taking the next LT exam. Hopefully this dooche" doesn't get the opportunity to writethe exam again.
I agree, I doubt I'll be taking the next one. I've been made a fool of for the last time. The powers that be as far as this exam are laughing their a$$es off. I'm the butt of nobody's jokes. I'm done.
