Ill admit that the demand for Sgts are high but that will not change the outcome of the list. Ill give u guys a really easy G.E.D explanations so u all can understand. There are not enough cops out there!!! With the looming retirements ahead the # of cops are going to be a record low! Its not that i think the city doesnt want to make Sgts, i think they literally cant! They need to maintain as much Police Officers as possible. There arent huge classes going in like they were in the past. What the Mayor is going to do is give current Sgts double and triple the work load as he is doing already. If u dont believe me ask a few Sgts that u know if they have more work to do then usual. I know for a fact i have double the work load. My cmd has been short sgts for over a year and will continue to be. This is just the way its going to be for a while till they hire more cops. You cant promote guys if there arent enough cops out there. The best case scenerio would be that when Sgts start to retire the city will replace them. But to add more Sgts after that wont happen when our police force is too small. Anybody with a brain can understand this.

HB it's time for you to move on and worry about your LT test. This argument has been beaten to death for the last 4 months and I think no one cares about this prediction anymore. it almost comical at this point, like espn with Tim Tebow during the NFL season. We all just want the list to come out and that's really it.
