Phase 1 is a definite sign of a January class, the only thing now is how many will be going in.

A notification to phase 1 means nothing, if you dont get one it really does not matter

Only certain ppl get selected for phase one. Its an intro to bmoc n they gave you a check list to do

I am around 30 away and I didn't get the Phase 1 - like others have said it means nothing. And if I remember correctly - a few months back guys were going that were many many names away. My point is that Phase 1 is not an indicator of anything. That said I hear there will be a class in January and I have been told it will be over 30. How much over 30? No idea.

I don't think the finest for January is 3 weeks, but 5 weeks away (thurs January 5, for a monday January 9 bmoc)... If that's the case they would b able to put 60 to 80 since Lts, Capts bmoc would b over by then.

The class goes in on January 3rd... The finest would be the previous wednesday which is December 28th.. 3 1/2 weeks

For whatever it's worth, a guy in my command got notified for phase 1 to attend this Friday the 9th, he is in the low 50s names away on the list.

It's a one day training that the academy made as a refresher. Our exam was given 3 years ago.

A friend of mine is around 80 names away and got notified to go to the phase 1 training on 12/16. Sounds like out of the 110 names left, half is going on 12/9 and the other half will be going a week later on 12/16. Looks like things are moving along. To those who haven't got notified yet I wouldn't worry cause as a previous poster said it doesn't matter if you get it or not. I know people that have been promoted and didn't go to the training. Everyone stay positive and focused.

Apparently phase 1 is given only on fridays and im rdo in fridays; i guess they will not send me unless they pay me overtime. biggrin

Lt in phase 1 stated, "the rumor is there will b a January class." If there is, we would get notified on the 28, to start on the 2nd. A Sgt also suggested there will b a January class and used the theoretical number of 75ppl.

There's about 30 to 40 people here
Some as many as 60 names away on the list
Its a real easy day, mostly disussions and breaks, actually not a bad day so far. Like already posted we have been told january and I saw another lt I know here who said the same thing as of now. There's no word on numbers though

I will say this though if you come make sure your in business attire and are on time the lt. Made a bunch of comments to people about being late and dressed down one guy in the hallway about being in courdories (sorry about the spelling) and a button down, though he was laughing and smiling about it you could see he was a bit annoyed

For what its worth......there IS a class going in the beginning of January for end of month promotion (CONFIRMED) - havent heard numbers though

That confirmation is worth a lot brat, thank you. The bosses at phase I didn't want to confirm nor deny that there will be a January class (though they did suggest there will b one). One of the Lts said that the rest of the list MIGHT b divided into two groups of 60!

High600, quagmire as u guys know, there are many variables as to why you haven't got notified. There will be another phase I next Friday; maybe your notification is on it's way, or lost. Today one of the guys came in full uniform because his notification was given to him in the morning when he showed up for work lol. If u guys don't have anything pending count on January class. Since it was said before that todays phase 1 class had about 30-40 people in it, Im wondering why they're doing another 1 next week. Was it because they couldn't accommodate a group of 80 and that's why theyre splitting it up in two? For the guys going to the phase 1 next week, does that mean they'll be in the January class?

It is not a big deal if you did not get one, it is a random thing and not everybody goes. FYI a CCRB can only hold you up if it is substantiated and that complaint put you on monitoring. I never had a CCRB but I can get one tomorrow depending on what it is and still make the next BMOC class.
