I get hit with occupy wall street OT on Friday into Saturday or even worse on Saturday? I cant imagine spending a whole summer studying and not being able to take the exam. My squad is RDO Thur-Sat.

Yes, they have to let you take it and give you off Fri night. Your Admin Lt should already have a list of who is taking the test and be making plans for coverage.
R u people serious? And you wanna be bosses? You can't even figure out your own chart! WTF! I hope you are joking, if not and you pass God help anyone you end up supervising.
In case you are not joking, you will not have to work your Fri night into Sat. You will come back Sat night after the test for Sunday
Bx Bomber do you always sound so well educated or just when you're writing out 61s? Being that this is my first year on midnights I never payed any attention to how they take their promotional exam. At any rate I would love to sit down and chat with you sometime about your leadership experience and your method of. Maybe you would get a beer on the rocks?
It's just a stupid question, if u work midnights you would get off at 0750 Sat morning. You think even this screwed up job would say u have to go straight to the exam after working all night. You would have an obvious disadvantage. The test prob starts at 0800 you wouldn't even be able to make it there. Use your head, that's all. Minus one or two days of promotional exams all you need is a little common sense and a tad of initiative to excell at this job.
bx-bomber--i hope you're not a supervisor, and obviously u havent been on wall street--who says the test cant be postponed, u think the city cares who studied--Midnight officer-have faith, and keep studying so u can give bx. bomber the orders!!
No I haven't been on Wall Street, I'm busy working in a real command, and as far as being a supervisor goes your out if luck on that one pal. Once you pass the Capt exam (I won't hold my breath) you'll be able to give me orders, till then go stand a foot post or transport these 15 prisoners for me, and let me have a scratch while I'm at it.

bx bomber--didnt realize you're so sensitive-you basically called :red cons: an idiot, yet you're so sensitive--I won't engage you anymore, as you obviously don't have thick skin-It's a shame you look down on foot posts and transporting prisoners--the meat and potatoes of the police dept. --Good Luck on holding your breath-
red con; dont stress it. What I was told is that if your on the 1st and 3rd platoon, you cannot work past 1800 hours on Friday and be chart changed to Saturday for a second platoon (day that you will not be charged for with reciept of the test) Then obviously if you are scheduled to work sat night into sun morning, u will work that tour
