2 Weeks Away

So hows everyone feeling for this Exam? Rumors are flying with 9000 Cops taking this exam it might be a hard test just like 2007 with only 300-350 passing. Any thoughts?

I'm feeling okay...not great but okay. I swing out this weekend and then vaca until test day...gonna' go hard on those 10 ten days. Did the 2007 exam (from the key cram) yesterday and got 20 wrong out of 86...good enough for a passing score, but would of liked higher. Touching on what you said, I've heard many say 2007 was tough so that makes me feel a bit better. I can't speak for rumors but 9000 is a huge number...it could lean either way. It's crunch time and my nerves are up...I'm turning into a shakebox!!!

63 same boat as you, feel ok but not great...I never took a test before. Im on Vac til the test. I dont believe there is any way for us to know how hard the test will be. If only 350 pass then we will all be in the same boat in 18 months, studying again.

Im so sick of reading this shhhtuff. Im having trouble focusing now that its football season and October baseball. But I sacrificed my summer and to give up now with it being 15 days away is making it that much more difficult. Bottom line is I dont want to have to do this again. I gave up so much of my free time this summer for this damn test and to have to do it again would heartbreaking to say the least.

As far as it being difficult because of the number of people taking the test only time will tell. Im not gonna buy into the rumors because some people are saying they need a lot of sergeants to make the list so that it wont be too difficult. Either way we control our own destiny regardless of what the rumors say.

Derek Jeter, and Eli Manning aren't gonna pay you for the rest of your life. Stay focused! Football will be there in 2 weeks and hopefully so will the Yankees.

Brat is the academy posting an In-Basket ? Although ill im not big on the academy questions, ill take as many as i can get. Is it just me or the academy questions are much easier then The Key of Rising Star ?

no they definitely are...I average in the 70% range on RS...80% on Key and over 90% on academy material...and I don't spot any tricks on them.

I thought so. I normally average around a 60-65% on rising star about a 70-80% on the key and never get more then 2-3 wrong on the academy material, but hey ill take it.

just because you get practice questions wrong........doesnt mean its a better question............so if you get more questions wrong on the actual exam, does that mean its a better test??

Brat your taking this too personal. If your involved in making the academy questions my intentions weren't to offend or mock your choice of questions. I haven't posted much on this board but I have read a lot of your post and I respect and appreciate all of the advice you've given. I think most will agree that they rather be challenged on a question then get a false sense of confidence when taking practice exams. Obviously on test day I'm aiming for a 100. I don't mind scoring a 60-80 on practice exams cause it gives me a better idea on where I need to pay more attention. Other then that if you are involved in making the academy questions, I thank you.
