I was just in PA for property training and asked one guy from bmoc that was on the brake about the next class and he said that according to Lt the next class will be in the beginning of January. I hope he is wrong though..........

No idea who E D is, and dont really feel like to go back 11 pages to look for his posts at the moment. But anyway, that's what I heard and I only thought it could be helpfull to share it, since the finest never came down on Monday. I personally hope there will be a class in December.

heard 2 more classes and only a few of the pass overs will get made..Also that a class will go in before New Year, its safe to assume that it will be in the 50-60 range because another class of 60-70 will do it. I think it will be Nov 28th with the Finest down on Nov 23rd....I dont think its possible to put the class in on December 5th due to the holidays.

Another possibly good news for those of us ineligible to take the Lt test is that the next Lt test will be given sooner than we thought, maybe even next year or early 2013, so start studying, ie., learning proper grammar lol.

I took the test for practice only and considering how poor real cop's grammar is, I predict a very small list. Even an English professor would have problems with many of such proper English questions!

Let's now hope for that Dec class and be trouble free till then.

I don't think a lot of people will study for the next LT Exam. After this one, Im pretty sure everyone will wait to see if the new testing method was a result of incompetence and lack of test writing skills or a plot to extend the 2006 list through bureaucracy. The exam content will be hotly contested and cause a delay of at least a year until the list is made public.

I'm hoping brat will come up with something. Her being wrong last month was an anomaly and her input for a December class should put us at ease hopefully sooner than later.

My patience is running thin though, i want this thing to happen already.

I heard the department wanted to promote as much as possible for the lieutenants exam. Now the job has more than enough sergeants, we have to wait now until retirements start coming down or if the job puts in a academy class in January. My prediction is that the next bmoc class will go in February and March.

I still think there will be a December class. A month ago they said they were 150 Sgts under where they need to be, 80 have gone in, but almost 40 have retired. There is almost always a December class, too.

i spoke with a friend in 1pp today and he said as of right now there would NOT be a dec class. he has been following me on the list, i hope that he is wrong but just forwarding what he is telling me to all of you. He also was caught off guard with the nov class being squashed at the last minute though. but a friend told me too that alot can change from now till then, as we all know.

I heard the same thing no promotions for a few months, I think next class going in will be in February. It sucks but the department did promote a lot people in a short period of time.

Not rushing after I was not able to take Lt exam. Jan. or Feb. class is even better than next. Most commands r slow in those months. All I need is one more for quarter. Good luck to all.
