Well in a lot of commands u have 1 Sgt supervising 16 cops.

In my command they have had one sgt for two squads (16+ cops) for the last three years and that's still the case in every tour!!

Well I think that's what the lawsuit is about, apparently it's civil service law that there must be a minimum ratio of 8 cops per 1 Sgt and the dept has failed to keep that ratio. Any Sgts on the air that can confirm?

IN my command we have more than enough sgts, you cant walk around without tripping over one. Sometimes the sgt covering patrol has a sgt driving him lol
