The finest that game down said to report on Monday 0700 hrs but a friend of mines looked at his finest and it said to report Tuesday Sept. 6th @ 0700 hrs. Anybody else get conflicting days?

 The first raise is $163. You know what that $163 buys today? It doesnt even buy $162! What a joke. And isnt a P.O's longevity more than 4830 at 5 years???

it blows for the 1st 4 yrs. no doubt. but look this way. its approx 22K difference. top pay cop O/T @ approx $60 per hr. (don't know exact figure) A PO needs 30 hrs a month for the year to make what a Sgt makes for showing up. That's almost an extra work week every month.

It is rough for sure,but working almost 9hrs you get 7 extra chart days in a scootter chart and 10 after top pay. Also if you are in a steady chart you get 28 chart day as a cop you will only get 18 it good for somethings.

don't forget, sgts get cash O/T as well. although not as much in most cases, but you have your usual..CRV, NYE, west indian day, etc where u will incur o/t whether u want it or not.

Not necessary. People have gone to phase 1 but have gotten skipped over. Its rare but it can happen. I wouldn't worry about it, more than likely your good. Congrats!

I was under the impression that they tell you the day before you graduate. Are these guys who just graduated today still assigned to BMOC until Sunday and start in their new commands on Monday?

I stand corrected then. I do know this though, they are assigned to BMOC throughout their
training week. They wont be perm assigned to their commands till next Friday the 7th.

The guys did find out their new commands. We were sent all over the 5 boros, seemed as if the Bronx got the most. Not 100% but that's what it seemed like.
