What wrong with the midnights in the 81?  You referring to the cops and bosses or patrol in general? I also forgot to mention central booking (any boro) would probably be the worst place to work as a boss.

central booking is a 3 year commitment as a boss. and don't knock an impact until u try it. if u need a day off and constantly get denied bcuz they r short sgt's you'll b wishing u belonged 2 one. i don't regret it. i actually chose it and it aint bad. i'm on patrol, but impact is the best kept secrect. (there is a line in my cmd)

Once you're in the court section good luck getting out, I dont think there are too many bosses knocking down the door to work there.  There were two cjb spots in my bmoc and out of 75, i think only one person chose it and made it their top pick.  I'd pick the 75 or 73 anyday over the court section, just my opinion though.

I would definitely have to agree with u guys and say Cental Booking. In the bronx u have to do at least 2 years, No windows and the plus of coming home every day smelling like 2 day old un-showered perps... No thank U.... But on the bright side u do get to pick any CMD of ur choice after ur 2 yrs.

the cjb sentence is longer than probation. besides what cmd is that great that u will sacrifice 2 years to deal with cjb.

I'm going to have to agree with you on that one tensix. But suprisingly I know alot of bossess who have been there 5 plus years, i'm going to assume by choice, I only know of one who left to go to patrol after being there for SEVEN years because he needed overtime.  Plus who knows how much of a promise or guarantee the choice of your command is.   I'm not much for being inside, so something like that would drive me insane on the first day.  Plus you're also dealing with the psycho ghetto paa's and the jammed up cops who fight amd argue over the most ridiculous things, this i've seen first-hand in mcb, too much drama for any normal human being to deal with.  That's why patrol is the way to go on this job.  Too much petty crap with inside details.

I guess you guys never been in Queens CJB. I would love to work in that place as a boss. All bosses there look happy and stress free. And, the place looks relatively clean and neat compared to other CJB. Plus, if you live on Long Island, commute rocks!

How bad can a place like the 73/75 be? you have lots of bosses working at any given time, so you have a lot of experience to guide you, not to mention people to cover you when you screw up.

CJB is not what it use to be, Now its considered a great OT detail...BX CJB bosses average 40-50 hours...some cops average 60-70 hours. Manhattan CJB is considered a hook. Bosses there are very happy and making $$$$.
