Does anyone know whether the top-step Lieutenant salary will exceed the starting Captain salary once the 4% raise takes effect in March? Captains wont receive their 4% increase until November, so Im trying to confirm how the pay scales will line up during that gap.

Starting capt salary steps right now is 165/166/167/201. Unless you are at 3rd step or top pay LSA, it would not matter.
Correct. So it will impact a Top Pay LT (185k) as of 3/1/26 when this 4% raise kicks in. so newly promoted captains from 3/1/26 onwards will be skipping rookie captain pay gaps.
