Mamdani becomes mayor, then what ?

Adams put the money there for the city to hire the cops. Mamdani can and most likely will cancel that money. I believe this was intentionally done to prove mamdanis hatred for us and the fact he said he wont defund us is a flat out lie. Will people leave possibly but remember its just not mamdani....he has to get permission from city hall for certain things, people who have their hands in the cookie jar will more than likely call for his removal putting the governor in a bad position...and let's not forget the Republicans will sit back and watch support flow to them after everyone witness who the democrats have unleashed on the city. We must pray and stay rooted in the word of God and cling to him...and we will be fine. God bless

I agree that Adams did that knowing full well Mamdani would revoke it.

I also dont think the sky is falling. Mamdani needs us more than we need him so he has no choice but to play ball.

So Mamdani just revoked all that money set aside for 5,000 cops over next 4 years. He displayed no remorse in snatching up cash to subsidize his Social projects . Its really cold out now but the streets are Going to be chock full of criminals once it gets warmer out. We are so low on personell in every precinct , how does this maniac keep saying he cares about New York and New Yorkers when all he cares about is seeing his own pet projects through to the end without any thought to normal day to day operations .
The way Im seeing this is , its only a matter of time before this guy runs out of time as mayor. Not many will stand for his shananigans. Hes already shown his true identity and hadnt been in office more than a few months
