Am I the only one whos stayed up late trying to grab a transit overtime slotonly to see my name listed as having secured itthen, when the official list comes out, its gone? Ive officially stopped playing this Hunger Games-style scramble for shifts. I refuse to lose sleep over it anymore, but waiting until the morning means theres never anything left.  

I dont have connections who can bump someone out of their slot the way it was probably done to me, and even if I did, I wouldnt go that route. Weve simply swapped one broken overtime system for another. Like my history teacher used to say, The more things change, the more they stay the same.
