75 sgts for clearance, gotta wait for official numbers. 75 is smaller clearance then the usual 150. But have to wait and see to confirm. Stay positive.
Hopefully not. I do find it odd that keycapt has not posted any info. At this point I would be glad with any numbers. At least the list will move.

Agreed. maybe key capt will post today the numbers . holiday promotion are usually larger classes. so very strange why only 75 clearance this month. I still believe there is a decent amount of vacancies left.
If 75 cleared , maybe only 50 this month but expect Jan/Feb/Mar to be bigger classes. Classes graduating from academy in Jan and Apr. Also lets see whats happening with 04 class and how many will retire at 20 years. Not many guys with time on have a burning desire to stay much past 20.

We should hear something this upcoming week. Hopefully they promote all 75 of the clearance .
Is that less than 50? Lets all hope & stay positive. Hoping for at least 50 and have the list keep moving. January is expecting mass # of retirements & Dec historically has been large # classes that we can all bank on

Pretty discouraging but hopefully numbers can change. Anything is better then zero at this point. Vacancies are low for sgts right now i heard. But that will change come January with retirements coming along. Also remember with 21 LTs going in, makes 21 more sgt vacancies. Theyll play catchup later, hope for the best
Damn well hey as many have said alot of retirements are coming next year and that includes a great deal of bosses Lt and Sgt included. Stay positive and keep ur faith in Christ! With Him all things are possible. God bless
This is all due to the SBA contract. They did the same thing in 2021. Canceled the December and January class to get the contract settled. February was a 200 sgt class. Sucks for those that were up next to get promoted because they will no longer go to top pay.

No it was not buddy. The last class from the 2016( really 2017) was on december 2022. But regardless, all this is speculation and trust me, i know what it feels like to be sitting there waiting for that finest message. I do want the contract to come soon for the SBA since i am one of those that got screw. However, i want everyone to have a good holiday season. Either by promotions or by contract. Stay safe out there!
Sorry guys .. never like to put bad news but I like to be transparent on this forum. Lets hope next months is different . I will update once I hear anything . Until then enjoy the holidays dont down yourselves. And please more importantly take care of your mental health too many suicides lately .
Also one more thing sorry please be responsible. Do not drink and drive . If you and your spouse or whatever is getting into a heated argument walk away . One bad decision can ruin something you worked so hard to attain.
The SBA made a bit of progress with the mediator this week, so its possible that a contract is imminent and thats the holdup. I have 13 years on and was in that February 2022 sergeant class and Im making 95k a year so its something that needs to be fixed even if it means the rest of the list gets screwed.
