I dont think you factored in the massive retirements in recent couple years, along with lack of recruiting and overall headcount cut since 2016. Dont waste your time doing this, just hope the job hires more cops as more cops = more sgts.

The classes in 2004,2005 were giant classes so yes

Im aware. There is a class slated to go in

end of January. Im hearing the head count is 1,000 with a back fill of 200.

Do I believe it ? No. At this point pray that more people take the job. This will give us

somewhat of a chance to be promoted. However , lets see when the dust settles and

how many who can retire do retire. Whether these people are bosses , then there will be

a need.
