For all Sgts affected by the pay disparity, would you be willing to sign onto a class action lawsuit even if that meant paying the lawyer a portion of the settlement? [48 vote(s)]
The SBA is failing us. They signed the MOU in June of this year accepting the general wage increases and have since been unable to settle the terms of the pay disparity while POs and newly promoted Sgts continue to earn more than us. It has been six months with no end in sight while most other unions have been able to negotiate their individual terms. Our union seems to be more interested with raffles and calendars, while they continue to keep us in the dark. It is time to band together and see if a labor lawyer will take our case.
