Detectives with over 5 years in rank go to top pay.

Lol its probably better to just wait until someone knows rather than everyone shouting out baseless guesses.

I highly doubt theyll be skipping any classes . Most likely shrink the class size but the trend as be 75-85 anything more than that is a plus . The hiring freeze is not for NYPD. So to me it should be business as usual . That can always change last minute.

Haha I like it here . But if i get info Ill definitely share about LT. One thing I can say about that rank and people usually never leave that rank. In my opinion its the best rank in this department. Again like I mentioned before I was told again classes will continue at 75-85 pace which is pretty good . Im sure we will see a bigger class possibly end of the year . But this list moving pretty well.

Well ladies and gents I was just told SGT vacancies are close to 700 that number is a bit high. Its great news for promotions but sheesh I feel so bad for the commands needing Sgts . Continue being patient everyone!

Any updates on the 27th promotion? Someone in the captains thread said that 20 captains were requested but only 10 were approved for 27th promotion. Wonder how many Sgts will go in this month.
