Ill probably wait until the exam is announced 4 years from now and see where Im at and if im willing to sacrifice that year of studying again.

I would say yes you become Salary based and with their new contract you make around 230,000-240,000 a year without worrying about OT, so Money wise it makes sense and I believe you receive different Retirement based benefits for Executives idk exactly what the differences are.
