I am a little concerned with the new Sergeant List and the 12 hour/10 hour tours. Logistically, it appears that the department will need less sergeants. Hopefully, a lot of people wont die on the list. Any thoughts?

Any idea if a 61 raw (before throwouts that are historically significant) will make the list and/or die on the list?
I don't think anyone here can answer that question. Hopefully this month we'll find out. But in my past experiences which goes back to the early 2000's, I would say that a 61 raw wouldn't be on this list. I would start thinking Detective path at this point. When the next test comes around, you'll study harder.

A cop I know got a 60 on the 2017 sgt test.....after the Curve...she is now a sgt in queens. Curve is coming. Not cuz Drpapi said so but of other good sources I heard from as well Plus I also heard on the cpts test 61 and above was g2g. The Lt list is gunna get curved which means there will b demand for more sgts....I know he/she has asked the question alot but let's not forget there are others who just tryna get a glimmer of hope lets not be so negative. NOBODY can know or say 4 sure a 60 and up won't make it cuz u don't know just like me and others. Don't give up hope. Nothing is final yet.

Great to know there are others in the 61 crew and that were certainly not alone. I know a lot of people on this site dont like this fact But the truth is That this department is rightfully rewarding those who put in the time but fell a couple of points short.
Watcher5 needs to be watching the Doa midnights didnt respond to instead of this forum, this is how zombies are made right underneath your nose. Pay attention !!!
Guys, this is all HEARSAY, but I heard from someone that the list is coming out today. Of course, im taking this with a HUGE grain of salt. Lets see what happens, god willing its true!

They will still need the same amount of Sgt's the 1 Sgt to 8 po's ratio has not changed
