Im sure they will have a test next year. City makes decent money out of it and take forever to establish a list anyway.

They will have a test next year. In January 24, 2021 this list will hit the 3 year mark. They need to have a list ready for when this one expires.

This test was curved to accommodate the corona virus. Test in 2022.

I agree that the next Sergeant and/or LT exam will not be given until 2022 or 2023.

The city is a mess right now.

The first indication that a promotion exam is coming is when you start to see the advertisements from the test prep companies.

The ex-Inspectors that teach and run these test prep companies have the inside knowledge from their connections on the job.

They know when the exams are coming down. Right now you are hearing crickets from them.

They are going to extend the current Sergeant and LT lists. They have to because they have to give at least six months notice for an exam.

DCAS and NYPD HQ are both two giant 124 rooms filled with EDPs. The last thing they are considering are SGT and LT exams right now.

I saw the same email, I think everything and anything is on the table. However this is the rising star forum isnt it? So when rising star starts saying they r preparing their course youll know. Also, the PC is an employee of the key. If anyone would know its them.
