Last person I know that got an email is 35 names away, so probably somewhere between 35 and 40 people going in.

If anybody is wondering what list number theyve reached for mentoring, this is it 381.5. Only 9 Sergeants are attending mentoring.

If this class gets to 381, based on past history of the Lieutenants lists, you could expect the list to be around 550 in December 2020.

As much as I'd love for the list to be in 600s by december your forgetting the large number of vacancies that the list started with. Your not getting those 2 large back to back classes again

It may not be at 600 but it should be close. 550-600 sounds about right.

Remember, the first class was promoted on June 5th 2018. By the end of November, the next class gets promoted, and the list would essentially be active for almost 18 months.

381 in 18 months means we would be at a rate of 21 Sgts being promoted to LT per month.

If we keep that pace, 21 per month x 30 months (remaining life-span of the list) we should have an additional 635 people being promoted, which would put the list at 1016.

18 months is enough time to have an accurate standard deviation so I would put my guess at around the 1000's.

Hopefully everyone gets promoted though, only time will tell.

Realistically you can say there will be 6 down months next year. The other six months if they only promote 40 in each class which isnt a huge number, the list would be in the low 600s by the end of the year. Remember A LOT of LTs have over 20 on and the way this city is going I would expect more and more retirements.

Just my 2 cents I think 750 or 800 tops list will be cut.List is up to 339 in 18 months and dont forget they went 1 year without putting any Lts class. So list should actually be 270s.

Going by history no Lt list has ever hit 800.

So In 18 months the list reaches 380 and you think in another 2 and a half years they will only promote another 400? Nah. People crack me up with the historical b/s. As we can see the job is in uncharted territory. We have so many changes and mass exodus expected I think everyone will be pleasantly surprised !
