Lt mentoring

Anyone else here they are going to do LT.  mentoring?? And if so, who will be going? They will be removing sgts from patrol and units such as the squads for this?

It's confirmed. Should be coming down officially soon. Sergeants in admin commands will go out for 3 weeks, doing one week on each tour. No DO or PS duties, at least not officially. Spend some time with the platoon commander as his/her operator, SOL, ICO, NCO sergeant, etc. Then back to your command or BMOC, which ever comes first. No idea how many at a time or if it coincides with a potential class.

do they consider SRG, CRC, CTTF, School Safety and DB admin commands

This is one of the stupidest things I ever heard in my life. So a DB guy who has run multiple homicides cases needs to mentored by the platoon commander to do what?

What does it actually mean: Sergeants in admin commands? Does it mean: Boroughs and 1PP only but not the regular PCTs? Whoever posts it has to give more details. How many are doing it?

Seriously? It means what was written. And no, "who ever posts it" will say what they know and not speculate. And the last line of my post answers your last question. Now, as written, it says "sergeants assigned to administrative commands." Typically, anything enforcement based is excluded from that (e.g., DB, SRG). Can they change the order? Can they suddenly feel like including those commands? You know the answer to that. We know this is happening. The rest is up in the air for now.

Concur 63asap. I think this Lt mentoring program is a great idea for admin skirts/buffoons like dr.papi. A good three weeks of patrol b4 they get promoted should whip them into shape.

The Ops Order will likely be published today. I'm unsure if it has been amended to reflect which commands people will be sent to. That's all I got on this so far.

EDIT: Got word it will NOT be published today.

I'm not knocking Your intel but I was told the 49 will come down on sept 5 for a start date of Monday sept 10

Apparently they send out an email to those attending the mentoring, so that they can "request" one of the available commands (not sure how accurate this information is). I think they send out the final 49 on or around Sept 5th indicating what commands people are going to for the mentoring. Just wanted to see if anyone had some updated Intel.

No worries, I'm only referring to the Ops Order detailing the mentoring program itself, not an actual transfer of personnel or anything like that.

That's outside my purview. No clue. I can only speculate that the amount of people going into mentoring will be followed by a class of equal size. But again, that's just a guess...

12 ppl from next bmoc class of 50 as mentioned before? Seems like only 12 would be a waste...they should do what they did with Sgts for all out mentoring...

Not really a waste. Out of 55 going in 12 is a good amount. Why would people in enforcement commands need a mentoring/refresher?

I bet there are people out there that wouldnt mind extra 3weeks away from their commands on top of bmoc, not everyone in enforcement commands sits around and awaits promotionbiggrinbiggrin

At minimum it looks like 164 based on the mentoring list.  Id assume itll be a little higher because not everyone is going to mentoring

I think 164 is the last. I know a couple guys that are within 5 names of her who are in DB and arent in the mentoring group.

I also think 164 is last. A few of the people below 164 are in admin/DB commands.

Are those guys admin though? I think the mentoring is only for admin support comnanda

Some of the guys going to mentoring are in numbered squads. So 164 should be the last person for the 3rd class since the people directly below her are either in the squad, admin, or gun suppression. Unless they are using some other metric. For example, it's not only being in a detail, but how long you've been off patrol? I'm just speculating.

What number do you think they'll get to for December promotions? I'm on the cusp of making it.  Your Intel has been spot on since before the list came out.

Does anyone know how many people are eligible/jammed up between list# 105-200? And how many were cleared so fat?

So 4 were passed over from 105 to 164 unless more than 55 are getting promoted Sept 28. Is sept 28th confirmed?
