Everything I have been told is no promo for captains on Friday. I would believe it would have to be scheduled by now.

Anyone who says 100% confirmed is probably full of it. Even if the PC said it at a meeting with the mayor and God present, nothing is 100% confirmed on this job until after it happens, and even then sometimes not.

I would never say peoples info is wrong. If someone has better info then Im always willing to say what I heard is wrong. But I have heard no promos are scheduled for captain for Friday. Anyone hear anything different?

If that is true, since the first class of the 2015 LT exam was promoted on 8/1/16, they are not eligible until 8/1/18, looks like they are going to be skipping a lot of names to get 20 LT's promoted before then.
Also looks like no mentoring for this first class being that promotions are Friday.

1 year probation and 2 years for every civil service rank to be promoted.

Finest messages usually come down Wednesday for Friday promotions. IMHO I dont think there are Captains promotions Friday.

The most credible rumor Ive heard is 8/31 promotions with 8/13 mentoring... around 20-24 captains.

Not a rumor 24 Lt getting promoted to Capt and entering bmoc on 8/6. Congrats in advance to those getting promoted. This should free up some Lt spots however they have no info on another Lts class as of yet. As for the forceless he remains a prick as always, keep talking your crap and then asking for info.

I am hearing 25 people getting promoted on August 6th. My source is not rising star. 4 people from the old list and 21 from the new. It looks like there will not be any mentoring for this group.
Just passing along reliable info, take it for what it's worth.

If there are promotions in August there will definitely be people with not enough time in rank, I know a few personally.

Ok guys .. I have a question...Is it a promotion on August 6th or is it being assigned to the Leadership training?? .. I dont remember reading or hearing about 1PP Auditorium being reserved for promotions !!

Leadership August 6th. So it looks like its promotions at the end instead of before leadership course.
