How reliable is your source guy?

Last week that would have been my guess too. Now I'm leaning more towards the Thursday after, the 26th.

I heard next week also. But no day given.

No throwouts, list sometime next week or week after, scaling used, big list.

FAKE NEWS .....there was a poster on here that said first two weeks of April unless the list comes out tomorrow he was wrong

List out in May ...first class in June

That's because nobody knows and people are messing with you. I bet the number of throw outs won't be 8, 3, or 0. Those are just numbers people made up and fed the rumor mill.

 

As far as scaling, whatever version of the exam was the easiest (had the highest average score), the other versions will be scaled to match.

All I heard was 3 throwouts , 200+ names added as a result, no curve and list will be out shortly. Who knows what shortly is. Enjoy your chart days ,..

Its funny how no one knows anything and the board is crickets... Then once someone claims they have info everyone chimes in and has sources/info on the list

So I personally posted the 8 throwouts a bit ago....now to clarify, the Lt exam was scaled (8 points) - 3 throwouts - and originally 1287 list......got word today that there is a push for April 27th promotions, with Lt bmoc being 2 weeks long......and the first bmoc of LTs will be a large class....there was a pushback with leadership bmoc course in that they did not want or couldnt accommodatethe first big Lt blocs, so the talk is to if not 1 big LT BMOC, then 2 Medium sized classes back to back......list drops by next week, thats the current news.

 If they used scaling... then 8 points would only add about 200 names to original rumored list of 1100? 

How big of bmoc classes are they planning?

I think the lower exam is scaled to the higher exam. Or else if you scored about the median score, you'd lose points. And that's not what they did for the sgt exam, after the scale was done each question was only worth .8 (instead of 1). So nobodys raw score could have been made lower by the scale.  

Had to be scaled. Well, assuming the make up exam was different than the original, it had to be scaled.

I guess in essence  we are witnessing the beginning of the new way how scammers will  pass the test and get promoted before you.   Follow me here ...  Scam to take the make up exam and pray that it is harder then the other.. wait for the scaling process to finish.  now you have a higher score and list number.. making it probable for you to get promoted..  Actually, it's the opposite now since the scammers have to study and they can't rely on getting the answers from this website. Taking the make-up is no longer beneficial, so all the LOSERS who cheated in the past need to develop integrity and learn how to pass a simple promotional exam.

There is no promotion for April 27, the tentative Captains promotion is May 2. So if they do push the class maybe they will incorporate Lts.

 My LT makes a ton of decisions. What time theyre gonna take their nap? How many hours of lost time they can take? Who should they deny a 28 because they dont like them? Tons of tough decisions!

There's no good or legitimate intel here. I'm sorry. This is just a way to pass the time with people that have similar interests. 

 

This board is like going to a psychic. Generalizations, a few proclamations that go unnoticed when missed and then a big "Ah-HA! I said weeks ago that would happen!" The fact of the matter is nobody on our job knows when DCAS will be done with that list. It's like expecting someone at 1PP to know what time sanitation is going to come to collect the garbage. Sure a boss from here could ask a boss from there. But none of them care enough and even if they did, its really up to when the boots on the ground get to it. And when DCAS workers are the boots on the ground, asking for a date and time is useless.

          You just wanna hear whatever, the legit intel won't be available until at least 4 or 5 days prior to the list being released. People are just thirsty to hear whatever rumors are out there regardless of how true or fake these rumors are.
